Mark Ronson Presents Rhymefest - Man in the Mirror

So a few weeks ago I went to see my favorite MC of all time RAKIM peform live at the El Rey. In my opinion, he's the greatest MC ever *echos*... But that's another story that I'll have to write about later.

I listen to a ton of music in all differen't genres and I admit I have no way of keeping up with a lot of the stuff that comes out. The act that opened up for Rakim was a Chicago artist named Rhymefest. I've heard of the guy but never really took the time to listen to his stuff. I totally slept on this MC.

Good thing I have homies like Tommy Gunn who are always out partying and can keep their ear to the ground for me. The Gunner made me peep out this mix tape that was released last year. It's Rhymefest's Michael Jackson tribute. What's kinda trippy about it is that MJ was not dead at the time. Rhymefest just decided a year before his death to do a tribute album full of funny skits and good ol fashion hip hop.
