What's your TEXAS Name?

On Tuesday a Texas lawmaker, State Rep Betty Brown (R) indicated during her House testimony on voter identification that Asian Americans should change their names because they are hard to pronounce.

Brown said "Rather than everyone here having to learn Chinese — I understand it’s a rather difficult language — do you think that it would behoove you and your citizens to adopt a name that we could deal with more readily here?”

She also replied to the Organization of Chinese Americans who obviously were heated “Can’t you see that this is something that would make it a lot easier for you and the people who are poll workers if you could adopt a name just for identification purposes that’s easier for Americans to deal with?”

I think this is hilarious at the same time insulting. What's even more funny is she refuses to apologize and stated it has nothing to do with race. HA! can anyone be more ignorant.

So I found a solution to this problem. You know how there are all those name generators on Facebook, "What's your Star Wars, Hobbit, Super Hero, name?" They should have a what's your Texas name? You type in Ming Lee and it generates something like Outback Jake Mclinton. Where are those programmers?
